As they finished breakfast, Lacy’s dad handed her a small, mysterious box. “This one’s from all of us,” he said with a wink.
Lacy had been dropping hints for weeks about what she wanted for her birthday. She had mentioned a new bike, a doll, and even a trip to the amusement park. But little did she know, her family had been secretly planning a special surprise just for her.
“Happy birthday, Lacy!” they chimed in unison, as Lacy’s face lit up with joy.
The ride started off slow, but before she knew it, they were plummeting down a steep drop, twisting and turning through loops and corkscrews. Lacy screamed with delight, her eyes closed tight as she held on for dear life.
The morning was filled with laughter and chatter as Lacy ripped open her gifts. She squealed with delight as she unwrapped a beautiful doll, complete with a wardrobe of outfits and accessories. But the best was yet to come.
Later that day, at the amusement park, Lacy and her family waited in line for the biggest rollercoaster in the park. As they climbed into the car and strapped themselves in, Lacy felt her heart racing with anticipation.
As she made her way downstairs, she was greeted by the warm smile of her mom and the delicious aroma of freshly baked pancakes. Her family was gathered around the kitchen table, wearing party hats and big smiles.
