The truth is, we all have bad days sometimes. But it’s how we respond to them that really matters. We can choose to let the events of the day get us down, or we can choose to rise above them.
As the day finally came to a close, Olivia was exhausted. She just wanted to go home and forget about her terrible day. As she was walking out of the office, she bumped into her friend Emily.
Olivia tried to explain, but her boss wasn’t having it. “Just get to work and try to make up for the lost time,” he said curtly. Olivia-s Bad Day
Olivia smiled, feeling a little better. Maybe tomorrow would be a better day.
“Not a good start to the day,” she muttered to herself, as she quickly grabbed a towel to clean up the mess. The truth is, we all have bad days sometimes
Olivia just shook her head. “It was a disaster,” she said. “I had the worst day ever.”
Things only got worse from there. As she was rushing out the door, she realized she had left her lunch on the kitchen counter. She had been looking forward to eating her favorite sandwich all day, but now it was going to have to wait. As the day finally came to a close, Olivia was exhausted
Emily laughed. “Well, at least it’s over now,” she said. “Let’s go get some dinner and forget about it.”
