The movie is based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Rick Yancey. The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where an alien invasion has devastated the planet. The aliens, known as “The Others,” have launched a series of attacks on Earth, wiping out most of humanity. The main character, Cassie Sullivan (played by Chloë Moretz), is a young girl who is trying to survive in a world that seems determined to destroy her.
As Cassie navigates the treacherous landscape, she must confront her own demons and make difficult choices to ensure her survival. Along the way, she meets a group of rebels who are fighting against the alien threat, and together they embark on a perilous journey to save humanity.
