The War Dogs CZ program was officially established in 1999, with the goal of providing the Czech military with a team of highly trained canines that could support a range of military operations. The training process for War Dogs CZ is rigorous and demanding, with only the most promising candidates making it through to the final stages. Puppies are selected from a range of breeds, including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, and Labrador Retrievers, and begin their training at around 8 weeks old. After a successful career with the military, War Dogs CZ are retired and rehomed with families or individuals who can provide them with a comfortable and loving environment.
